With a rich, glamorous colour scheme, live music, ambient lighting and thoughtful details, the autumn wedding of Amy and Joe was truly magical.
Setting an autumn wedding date, Amy and Joe visited Bassmead Manor Barns and fell in love with it immediately!

Reflecting the season and her father’s tartan, the happy couple chose a navy and green colour scheme, adding a hint of glamour with gold sparkle here and there.
Festoon lighting gave the Moat Barn a wonderful ambience, alongside ‘LOVE’ letters and candles in jars. Beautiful blooms adorned the venue and the end result was a lively, party atmosphere.
Amy wore an elegant gown by Mark Lesley.
The beautiful bride completed the look with rose gold glitter platform shoes from Dune.
Meanwhile, Joe looked the part in a tailor made blue suit from Guards of London with a bespoke flamingo print on the back of the waistcoat.
Finally, Amy’s four bridesmaids wore navy dresses from Biba while her Maid of Honour wore the same gown in gold.
Following their romantic ceremony in The Rickety Barn, welcome drinks and canapés were served in the bar while a pianist delighted the guests.
An exquisite wedding breakfast started with chorizo Scotch egg, with Beef Wellington for main course and, for pudding, a trio of desserts.
As day turned to evening, the newlyweds took to the dance floor for their first dance to ‘Beneath Your Beautiful’ by Emilie Sande and Labyrinth and a live band, ‘Pump it Up’, got the party started.
Wood-fired pizza from the outdoor kitchen proved a popular choice for evening dining.
“Straight after the ceremony, our photographer was organizing everyone outside the barn doors for the confetti walk and Joe and I stood on our own holding hands waiting for the doors to open. It was such an exciting moment when the door opened and we saw all our family and friends poised to throw confetti.”
“We broke a few traditions and they were some of the most special moments for me. For example, I wanted both my mum and dad to walk me down the aisle. I will never forget having them both by my side as we made our way to where Joe was standing and giving them both a kiss before I got married.”
