Your Spring Wedding at Bassmead Manor Barns

Imagine exchanging your vows in the fresh and blossoming outdoors at our new outdoor ceremony area, The Thatched Bower. This picturesque space, with seating for 150, provides a waiting area adorned with vibrant greenery. As you make your grand entrance through rustic doors, the anticipation builds before your walk down the aisle, creating a memorable and breathtaking moment.

Or you could choose to have your wedding in the historic and meticulously restored Rickety Barn. With 300 years of history within, this remarkable ceremony space showcases original solid oak beams, wooden floors, and wrought-iron chandeliers. The atmosphere is enhanced by twinkling fairy lights, casting a romantic glow and setting the perfect tone for your ceremony.

New Beginnings in Bloom

Bassmead Manor Barns offers a range of spaces that you can make use of throughout your special day. Start in the enchanting Boudoir at Bassmead Manor Barns. Inside, you’ll also find The Salon, with hair and make-up stations, perfect for getting ready with your closest friends on your big day.

Effortlessly styled with sophistication, this cosy and pretty space spans two floors. Comfortable seating, a dressing table, and a full-length mirror add to its allure, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for you to relax in as you prepare for your big day.

For your reception, we have two fantastic spaces that will help you move through your day seamlessly. Your post-ceremony drinks reception can be held in The Moat Barn, where you will find our bar, and your wedding breakfast, takes place in the Bridge Barn. We also have our wonderful gardens that you can make use of through the day, too, so you’re spoilt for choice! After you have enjoyed your wedding breakfast, relax and sit back with friends and family in preparation for the evening celebrations to commence.

At the end of your magical day, stay in your romantic bubble, enjoy every moment on the dance floor before spending the night in Dove Cottage, our luxury honeymoon suite. The cottage spans two floors and features beautiful boutique décor, including a sumptuous bed, a striking black velvet sofa, and distinctive lamps that provide mood lighting.

If you’d like to invite your friends and family to stay the night after your wedding day, Appletree Cottage is the perfect choice. Sleeping up to 14 guests in seven ensuite bedrooms, your guests will be treated to stunning countryside views and each room is individually decorated and named after a flower that grows in the area.

We understand that the food and drink on your wedding day have to be perfect. Each spring menu is carefully created to provide dishes that delight, ensuring an unforgettable dining experience to share with your loved ones.

Our team of chefs uses the very best that the season has to offer, dreaming up imaginative menus that fit the first blooms of spring and your wedding perfectly. We source locally, using the freshest ingredients from trusted suppliers and create dishes that showcase them at their finest.

Before your wedding, enjoy the opportunity to taste a variety of our delicious dishes and wines and create a personalised menu with your Events Manager. Exchange wedding ideas with other couples and enjoy the venue as if you were a guest at your own wedding.

When the big day arrives, you can rely on our team at the venue to take care of your every need, so all you have to focus on is enjoying yourself as you get ready with your bridesmaids or friends. Whether it’s supplying you with delicious grazing boards and drinks, decorating your tables, checking with suppliers, we take care of it so that you don’t have to.
